Anybody who knows the story about King Solomon and the two mothers?

I’ve always been amazed how King Solomon demonstrated his wisdom through this situation..and I am craving for more wisdom every friday..

Anyway, this message was delivered last January 9, 2009 and here’s the summary

Seven enemies of Excellence

1. Karamdaman: 

• It is important to be healthy, because in order to be excellent, we must be vigorous and in great shape
• Matthew 26:41
• Proverbs 31:17

2.  Katamaran:

• This is the major enemy of excellence
• Bawal ang tutulog tulog
• Proverbs 12:27
• Hebrews 6:12
• Eccl. 10:8

3.  Kamangmangan:

• Ignorance
• Christianity is a continous learning
• Proverbs 10:14
• Hosea 4:6

4.  Katamlayan:

• Lack of passion and intensity
• Colossians 1:29
• If you have passion, you also need focus
• Hebrews 12:2

5.  Kababawan:

• Complacency
• We should give our best to the LORD
• Bawal ang pwede na..dapat laging PULIDO
• Stop comparing yourself with others..just compare yourself with yourself

6.  Kahirapan:

• Poverty
• We should kiss  “POVERTY MENTALITY” goodbye
• You are what you think of yourself
• Start making wealth
• Bawal ang reklamador
• Galatians 6:9
• We should improve our lives, because God gave us skills, talents and gifts and we should use it, maximize it.

7.  Kawalan ng orihinalidad:

• Copycat
• Being untrue and being unfaithful to self is being untrue to our Maker
• Be the best you that you can be.
• Have your own style.
• Nothing grows under the shadow of a big tree
• Get out of your shell
• Hebrews 12:1
